ABOUT

Samaa is a user experience designer, fine artist, and writer. She is a recent Master of Design graduate from the Digital Futures program at OCAD University in Toronto, Canada. 

She is interested in the intersections between global culture and digital technologies. She is the recipient of an NSERC graduate scholarship, and her research explores the ways in which augmented and virtual reality experiences can be used to create empathy. 

Her focus areas include: web VR, user research, strategic foresight, design thinking, inclusive/universal design, data analytics, and innovation.
